| Bio: | I'm a novelist by occupation, with stints as a teacher (swimming, piano, Freshman composition, K-12 German, especially 1st and 2nd graders), Master Gardener. I write historical fiction, Speculative Fiction, and Suspense. I moved around a lot growing up and lived in Minnesota (2 times) Chicago area (2 times) Nebraska (2 locations), Ohio, then, after marriage, Philadelphia, a suburb of Philly, and back to Minnesota. Then, when my husband took early retirement, to Austin, Texas, half the year. It's been, until I got to Minnesota for the final move, a rootless life. I, an English major (B.A., M.A.), married a Chemical engineer (B.S., MChem), of all things. At the time, his engineering friends ridiculed him for his folly. We've been married a loooooong time. So much for the wisdom of college friends. We have three adult children (i.e., over 21), 2 cats, 1 dog, and a parrot. | |||||
